What Every Singer Should Know . . .   Any artist or group of singers who are serious about mastering the art of singing must have a vocal regimen.  Jus Clown'N Music Vocal Coaching was established to direct and assist all vocalists in reaching their “ultimate” vocal potential, especially groups!  Training intended for solo artist will not work for groups!  Just because a singer has an exceptionally good voice, does not necessarily mean that he or she has great vocal technique or the ability to acquire a good vocal blend with others. Having a good voice is one element of singing, the ability to utilize the voice properly is another.  If a vocalist expects to get the best performance out of his or her voice, the voice must be trained and maintained properly.  JCM Vocal
Coaching
specializes in training singers to use the “whole vocal range” properly.  Vocalists are made to understand that caring for the voice is a “way of life.” The fundamentals and methodologies that students will acquire are as follows:

Breath Control - Diaphragmatic Breathing
Vocal Registers - Chest/Middle/Head Registers
Understand
Physical Impact of Singing
Understand
Muscular Utilization
Pitch Problem
Elimination & Ear Training
Proper
Tone Placement & Song Treatment
Personalized Warm-Up Vocal Workout Regimen

What's Unique about my Vocal Coaching Program?  As a coach, I not only teach students how to utilize the voice properly, but also demonstrate proper vocal utilization.  Having studied in the past under vocal professors, I found it quite odd that most of them could explain everything in the voice training manuals but could not demonstrate that which they were teaching.   SINGING  IS JUST AS MUCH “PHYSICAL” AS IT IS “VOCAL!”

“If a coach cannot identify with that which a
singer feels while singing, and understand the
tumultuous challenges that the human voice and body will command while performing, how can a coach honestly perceive that which a vocalist undergoes as he or she struggles to master the art of singing?”

JCM Vocal Coaching is usually the vocal salon that everyone comes to when they want to learn technique that can be realistically
applied.  “I usually train the students who have little or no singing abilities.”  Today, “real singers” are scarce.  My goal is to enable a singer to acquire a vocal identity with harmonic skills, vocal dexterity, and theoretical technique that will last a lifetime.  I personally contend that in conjunction with a good, rigorous vocal regimen, a student’s progress will depend solely upon the amount of time, attention, and dedication he or she devotes to mastering the art of singing.  Although it has become commonplace, lip-synching is not, and never will be an art form!  JCM Vocal Coaching’s goal is to cultivate singers who will be able to handle any vocal task put before them.  This holds true regardless of the musical genre in
which a vocalist aspires to undertake - Gospel; Jazz; Classical; R&B; Soul; Hip Hop etc.
